Today we had a great day outdoors identifying the names of leaves, trees, plants, wildflowers, and insects. We created a list whereby many of the children choose one/more things that they discovered on our survey of the grounds. We will use this list in the our next class to create our treasure trail. Below is the list created and all of the species identified - many using the Plantnet App.
The children also created bird swings from wool, thread and branches collected.
And we hung them on the trees in the yard.
